Resize Pages features
Nothing gets cropped
Pages are scaled in proportion, so you won’t lose headers or footers.
Stays sharp
Scaling is applied as an instruction rather than by redrawing, so text and line art don’t go blurry.
Links keep working
Clickable areas move and shrink along with the content.
Small pages can stay small
Tick “Don’t enlarge smaller pages” and, say, an A5 page is centred on A4 at its own size instead of being blown up.
US Letter to A4 (and back)
Letter is 216 × 279 mm. A4 is 210 × 297 mm: narrower and taller. Print a Letter PDF on A4 at actual size and the sides can clip; go the other way and the footer often vanishes. Resizing the PDF itself means it prints properly for everyone without them fiddling with printer settings.
Because the shapes differ, you’ll get a thin border on two sides after resizing. That’s expected. If you’re curious how points relate to millimetres, our guide to PDF page sizes explains it.

Resize Pages FAQs
Will the text get smaller?
Only if the new page is smaller. A4 to A5 halves the area, which makes everything about 71% of its old size.
Can I go bigger, e.g. A4 to A3?
Yes. Text and drawings stay sharp. Photos inside the PDF may look softer when enlarged.
How is this different from cropping?
Cropping trims the visible area without scaling. Resizing changes the paper and scales the content to fit it.
