How to add an image to a PDF
Open the PDF
Go to the page the image belongs on. You can flick between pages with the arrows.
Add the image
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or BMP. It drops into the middle of the page.
Place and save
Drag it, resize it from the round corner handle, then download.
Add Image features
Original quality
JPGs and PNGs go in as they are, without being re-compressed.
Same spot on every page
Copy to every page puts your logo in the same corner throughout. Good for a letterhead.
Opacity control
Fade an image so it doesn’t drown out what’s underneath.
A few ways people use it
- Putting a company logo on a quote exported from accounting software.
- Adding a “PAID” or “APPROVED” stamp.
- Dropping a photo or map into a form.
- A faint mark behind the text on every page is easier with Add Watermark.
Privacy and security
Your PDF and the image both stay on your device. Nothing’s uploaded while you place it, and nothing’s uploaded when you save.

Add Image FAQs
Can I add more than one image?
Yes, as many as you want, on any page.
Can the image go behind the text?
Images here sit on top. For a logo behind the content, use Add Watermark and tick “Place behind page content”.
Should I use this to sign?
You can, but Sign PDF is built for it: draw or type a signature, or upload a photo and have the paper background removed.
