Delete pages from a PDF

Delete pages from a PDF: blank backs from a scan, a duplicate, or a page you’d rather not share. Mark them, check what’s left, and download the shorter file.

How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Open the PDF

Every page appears as a thumbnail.

  2. Mark pages to remove

Click a page and it turns red. Or type numbers, like 3, 7-9.

  3. Delete and download

A summary tells you how many pages go and how many stay before you commit.

What makes this safer than most

Removed means removed

Some tools just unhook a deleted page, leaving its content buried in the file where software can find it. We build a fresh PDF from the pages you keep, and we test that the deleted text isn’t in the result.

You can see the result

Pages marked for deletion fade out and get a red label, so mistakes are obvious.

Can’t delete everything

The button switches off if you select every page. At least one has to stay.

Deleting pages for privacy

If you’re removing a page because of what’s on it, you want it gone for real, which is why this tool rebuilds the file. If it’s only part of a page you need to hide, be careful: drawing a black box over something doesn’t remove it, and the text underneath can often still be copied. Our PDF privacy guide explains what works.

Privacy and security

The file is edited in your browser and never uploaded. Your original still has every page, so delete or keep it as you see fit.
