Cookie policy

PDF365 currently sets no cookies at all. Here is what we do store, and what will change if advertising is introduced.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a website save information in your browser. In the UK, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) require consent for these unless they are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for.

This preference never leaves your device and is not used to identify or track you. Your documents are not stored in cookies or local storage; they exist only in the memory of your browser tab while you work.

Advertising cookies (not yet active)

We intend to show ads provided by Google AdSense. When we do, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and, if you agree, personalise them. Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before any of these cookies are set, and can change their choice at any time. This page will list the cookies before advertising starts.

You can find out how Google uses cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

Managing storage

You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site data. Clearing PDF365’s data simply resets the theme to match your device setting.
