Paper options
Spacing that matches real paper
Use 8 mm for the narrow-ruled lines you find in a lot of UK exercise books, or 5 mm squares for standard graph paper. Anything from 3 to 30 mm works.
Up to 500 pages
One sheet for a quick sketch or a whole notebook in one file.
Kind to printers
Light grey lines print clearly without eating ink, and they stop 12 mm from the edge so home printers don’t cut them off.
Adding a blank page to an existing PDF
Need a separator before an appendix, or a page for handwritten notes in the middle of a report? Create a single page here, combine it with Merge PDF, then drag it into place with Organise PDF.
Privacy and security
The pages are generated in your browser. There’s no file to upload in the first place, and nothing about what you make is sent to us.

Blank PDF FAQs
What line spacing is normal?
UK exercise books commonly use 8 mm (narrow) or 9 mm rules. US college-ruled paper is about 7 mm.
Can I type onto the pages afterwards?
Yes, with Add Text. If you’re starting from typed text anyway, Text to PDF is quicker.
Why don’t the lines reach the edge?
Most home printers can’t print right to the edge, so we stop 12 mm short to avoid lines being chopped.
